Animal feed

Animal feed

From agricultural production to animal nutrition.

As part of its agro-pastoral development, MED AGROPASCOM wishes to make the most of agricultural resources and contribute to the development of animal feed in Chad.

This activity aims to link agricultural production, the use of raw materials and the manufacture of feed suited to the nutritional needs of farm animals.

Through the development of its integrated farm in Bili, MED AGROPASCOM aims to strengthen the synergies between agriculture, livestock farming and agro-industrial processing.

ProjectThe activities described on this page are under development: they are presented as projects and objectives, not as facilities already in service.

Value chain

Project

From agricultural production to human and animal nutrition

Agricultural activities can contribute both to producing food for people and to manufacturing feed for animals.

  1. Agricultural production
  2. Adding value to raw materials
  3. Food processing
  4. Human and animal nutrition

This is a development objective: this full integration is not presented as already operational.
